Glo Borrow Me Credit

Glo prepaid customers can now borrow airtime when their account is balance is low. This is a new product launched by Glo called Borrow Me Credit.

What is Glo borrow me credit

This is a service that allows Glo prepaid subscribers to request for airtime when they have run out of airtime and expected to pay back on their next recharge within a specified period.

How to qualify for Glo borrow me credit

Sim must be registered

Sim must be prepaid

 Must be a loyal and consistent subscriber on Glo for at least 4 months and have a good usage history.

Previous borrowed credit must have been repaid to qualify for another.

How to apply for Glo borrow me credit

The customer is required to send a request through a predefined short code (*321#) which will send him a prompt to create a pin and confirm it.

The customer is required to request through the predefined short code which will provide him with the amounts they qualify for. To get specific denominations use the following short codes:

For N50 dial, *321*PIN*50#. The customer is required to have been on the network for up to 4months with an average monthly usage of N200.

For N100 dial  *321*PIN*100#. The customer is required to have been on the network for up to 4months with an average monthly usage of N400.

For N200 dial *321*PIN*200#. The customer is required to have been on the network for up to 4months with an average monthly usage of N800.

For N500 dial *321*PIN*500#. The customer is required to have been on the network for up to 4months with an average monthly usage of N2000.

For N1000 dial, *321*PIN*1000#. The customer is required to have been on the network for up to 12months with an average monthly usage of N5000.

Using Glo Borrow me credit

The airtime borrowed can be used on all chargeable activities. It can be used to call other networks, call international numbers, browse the internet

Service Charge for Glo Borrow me credit

The amount you receive is less 10% service charge which will be recovered together with the credited amount next time you reload.

Example- when a customer request for N50, the customer will get N45. Though when paying back the customer will pay N50. N5 being the service charge for the borrowed airtime.
