HOW TO TRANSFER AIRTIME/CREDIT – MTN SUBSCRIBERS

MTN allows it subscribers to transfer airtime to another subscriber. This service is known as share n sell. To use this service is free.

To transfer airtime to another MTN subscriber, you must first change your default password (0000).

To change the default password, text; OLDPIN NEWPIN NEWPIN to 777.

Example, if you are changing your default pin to 1234, you will send; 0000 1234 1234

in a text message to 777.

First method to transfer airtime, on your phone dail;

*600*Recipient’sNumber*Amount*password#

Example, if you want to transfer 120 Naira to 08037654321 and your pin is 1234, you will dial *600*08037654321*120*1234#

Second method, on your phone text;

Transfer(SPACE)Number(SPACE)Amount(SPACE)Password   send to 777

Example,

Transfer 08037654321 120 1234

When you send it to 777, you will receive a confirmation message. Reply with the word YES

HOW TO TRANSFER AIRTIME/CREDITS - GLO SUBSCRIBERS

Glo subscribers can transfer airtime to other Glo customers using a service called ME2U.

The default password which is 00000 must be changed to another 5 digits before a customer can use this service.

To change the old password, dial; *132*OLDPIN*NEWPIN*NEWPIN#

Example, if you are changing your default pin to 12345, you will dail; *132*00000*12345*12345# and press the send key.

NOTE: The pin must be 5 digits

To transfer airtime to another glo subscriber, dial;

*131*recipient’sNumber*Amount*Password#

Example, if you want to transfer 120 Naira to 08057654321 and your pin is 12345, you will dial *131*08057654321*120*12345#

A confirmation is required. Press 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel.

HOW TO TRANSFER AIRTIME/CREDITS – ETISALAT SUBSCRIBERS

Etisalat subscribers can transfer airtime to other etisalat customers by dialing

*223*Password*Amount*Recipient’sNumber#

Example, if you want to transfer 120 Naira to 08098765432 and your pin is 1234, you will dial *223*08098765432*120*12345#

The default pin for Etisalat is 0000

Or

Follow the steps below to transfer airtime

Locate the Etisalat services on your phone menu >Balance Transfer > security code box will pop-up, then enter your password “0000″,the next is amount you want to transfer eg. 120, the next window should contain recipient number.

You can also change your password from the service menu.

HOW TO TRANSFER AIRTIME/CREDIT - AIRTEL SUBSCRIBERS

Airtel subscribers can transfer airtime to other airtel customers by a message in the  below to 432.

Example; If you want to transfer 120 to08027654321 and your password is 1234. Type

2U 08027654321 120 1234 in a text message and send to 432.

To change the default password which is 1234, text; PIN(SPACE)1234(SPACE)NewPassword to 432.

Example, if you are changing your default pin to 1111, you will send; PIN 1234 1111 in a text message to 432.
